Love this! There are so many similarities between these guys and the Hopewell culture from the same era in North America.
I haven't seen the tv series yet (looks like it's going to be awesome), but the American copy of the book puts it up front as well. It's such a traumatic opening. I almost didn't read on thinking the whole thing was going to be non-stop horror. So glad I did. It really establishes the philosophical outlook of Ye Wenjie.
I mean, I get why all the talk on nostr is about nostr. But yeah, I wanted to see if anybody is using it for what it’s supposed to be for.
I should also say, I figured this out after checking out tutorials by @jeffg and @gudnuf on ndk. All of my other programming skills, I learned from @bitcoinplebdev’s courses, so any one of them I bet could easily integrate this option into a beefier client in their sleep.
What kind of layout might you dig more?
Here's a star trek theme that I made for a lightning wallet that I could easily transfer over:

Or this one is made to look like a video game:

Or this one is made just to make you anxious and pissed off:

:)
Any of these styles and more I could do. CSS is my favorite part of coding so far.
The filter was actually the easiest part of making this. I'm sure someone that knows how to code better than me could add this option in like ten minutes. If not, it's there in the repo.
I’ve been talking this over with my wife the past couple of hours. We’re going to keep doing what we’re doing with our node. We all knew this day would come, albeit not so soon.
Let’s assume they are going to do what they threaten here and every node operator is at risk. My big concern is my family. Let’s just say for fun that a node was being operated out of a house and there was a clear operator, but the other adults in the house knew about it. Would they be implicated? If so, could that person go on an old platform like Facebook or twitter and preemptively implicate their whole friend list in a way that’s documented? Getting ratted out early and debating the fourth amendment seems more appealing than to me than seeing my wife, who doesn’t operate the node at all, in prison with our kids all alone.
Well yes, she's definitely not there on screen load as that would kind of defeat the point of what I'm trying to demonstrate with the game. But if you're familiar with normal chess rules, you can actually earn her in this adaptation in as few as two moves. I hope that helps.
Ah ha! I knew there’d be some clarification emerging at some point. I wonder if that site could incorporate that kind of data.
According to this, Elizabeth Warren is not quite as rich as what bitcoin YouTube would have us believe. Am I maybe missing something?
So would she take pictures of a bruise as it healed and then animated them or was this just pictures of individual bruises for comparison?
I just planted a one foot tall giant sequoia at my kids' school and just had the idea that they could take pictures of it every year for hundreds of generations and make a video of something no one could naturally see in a lifetime.
I made these about a month or so ago with the skills from taking your front end course. It's fun to move around (drive around in the case of the board-game themed one) and protect the static pieces from the shooters.
The philosophical implications of Conway's game are so intriguing. I first encountered the fine tuning argument (although I don't think it's named as such in the book) in Dawkins's "Climbing Mount Improbable." Ironically, that book and his beautiful explanation of it was really instrumental in leading me to theism in my early 20s.
