I'm writing this today and these are just some examples of what I've seen in the last few hours

As a Bitcoin beginner the noise in Bitcoin is deafening, there is always a drama! As a Bitcoin beginner the noise in Bitcoin is deafening, there is always a drama!

The issue for non technical beginners is, what do you filter out?

First we have this note from a npub I've been following a while

They are very technically knowledgeable and always making comments about the state and future of Bitcoin

maxis and knotzis are getting everything wrong about the idea of centralization risk, they are being inconsistent and nothing they are saying makes any sense.
the lightning network creates observable amounts of dangerous centralization, due to the inability of lots of people to maintain their own channels at the same time
The market will not bear it, centralized and permissioned appliances like liquid, spark, arkade, and ecash exist entirely to make the lightning network appear to work, while enriching the wrong people.
I am sick and tired of having conversations about centralization risk with people who think the lightning network is all we will ever need.
These people are blind, centralization is not a "what happens if we do x" thing, it's a right now thing and lightning created it.

Again a technical argument about lightning that i dont fully understand, JS will and i would refer to his guidance

Then I picked this post on SN which is trending titled

'Bitcoin Stale Block Dataset Website''Bitcoin Stale Block Dataset Website'

#1437409

This is, even without looking at it, extremely technical

Is there even a point for a beginner to look at this?

Most likely I assume that a lot of the commentary on SN is people who have no idea what they are talking about trying to join a discussion with people that doMost likely I assume that a lot of the commentary on SN is people who have no idea what they are talking about trying to join a discussion with people that do

Then another note, this time about future price action claims

So I fully expect that after this peak, which either has recently happened or is going to happen next month, Bitcoin will enter a decade long bear market.
I am going to get a lot of hate for saying this, but you always get hate at 6am when you tell everyone you're out of blow and its time to go home, the party can't go on forever.

Where this opinion comes from i dont know and for me it's just noise

I guess there are a lot of ways of explaining this phenomenon of becoming a Bitcoiner

Zero to one, to use Thiel's title is quite apt

You start with nothing, like with any topic you learn in life, and you increase your knowledge

But the journey is the the most enjoyable part and also the most difficult, unless of course you're an autistic savant who just sees it without effort

As a beginner it's easy to get caught up in discussions that are way above your level and I'm sure that some stackers feel they are wading through sand, trying to discuss super complex technical arguments with keen new stackers who are out of their depth

But we're polite and we dont rock the boat, except Darth lol, but his contempt illustrates or highlights the line, I've learnt to listen more than I speak

I really like reading stuff from k00b and Scoresby because they obviously know their stuff not forgetting sox but i dont see a lot of posts from him, he's obviously building in the background

I cant name everyone but Darth is straight talking and his guides are a credit to his contribution to the library of knowledge

I like Justin Shocknet, he is also no nonsense but clinically efficient and highly knowledgeable

I like Optimism, he is a technical expert quite like the previous mentions and stands out for me

If you’re reading this thinking why didn't i mention you, if you are honestly technically able to understand and convey Bitcoin, i will have read your posts and this is for you, this begginer thanks you

My advice for a beginner is simple: do not talk about something if you have no idea about that thing, you never use it, you are only repeating words from others (influencers).

Speak only from your own experience. If you know very little, better listen first, or at least go and read more, document yourself.

Yes as OP said, I scream a lot here on SN, not because I want to insult you, but because I see how many noobs are talking shit about things they have no idea. It makes my blood boiling to see this behavior after I've spent days and years testing, writing guides, helping others etc and people don't want to learn anything, just want to debate without knowing anything, just meaningless talking.

Just because you know how to open a BTC wallet it doesn't mean you know everything about Bitcoin. I myself, I am learning from others here every day. In silence, just reading. I speak only when I have a question or something to say. Or make a meme :)
