Varginha (MG)
Often called the “Brazilian Roswell,” this town made headlines in 1996 after locals reported seeing a strange creature and increased military activity. Some chalk it up to mass hysteria. Others aren’t so sure.

São Tomé das Letras (MG)
Famous for its quartz-filled mountains and mystical energy, this town is full of stories about UFOs, disappearing hikers, and supposed interdimensional portals. Many locals insist the sky acts differently here.

Colares (PA)
In the late 1970s, residents reported being attacked by strange lights that left burns and other physical effects. The military investigated, but their explanation never quite satisfied anyone. The case remains a mystery.

I've noticed an interesting contradiction: while modern medicine recommends cutting salt, traditional cultures with remarkable longevity naturally incorporate it into their diets.
In Japan, despite abundant use of shoyu and miso, the population maintains enviable life expectancy. Across various regions, less processed salts like fleur de sel have been used for generations.
The difference seems to lie in context: refined industrial salt added excessively to ultra-processed foods versus quality salt in home-cooked meals based on natural ingredients.
Perhaps the solution isn't eliminating salt altogether, but rather reducing processed foods, choosing less refined salts, and using it mindfully to enhance the flavor of real food.

What do people think about Islamic culture? I feel like Muslims are more disciplined than Christians. They also seem to take their religion more seriously and actually live by it. I think Christianity has been kind of watered down over the years. Take Khabib Nurmagomedov and other fighters from Dagestan, for example they’re super focused and dedicated, and their faith plays a big role in that.
