Yeah. No rushing things.
Label Synchronization is off by default. Everything sent over nostr to synchronize labels is encrypted (and the meta data hidden NIP-17)

Bitcoin-safe.org is an onchain bitcoin wallet and has integrated Synchronization for labels, between wallets with the same descriptor.
It works via encrypted nostr dms by the way.
